So I am a year older today, but I felt like a kid again when I woke up this morning.

Despite the dull & dismal weather, my birthday so far has been a great experience of presents, phone calls,  and well wishes from my family, friends & loved ones.

I think I pretty much woke the entire neighbourhood as I squealed with excitement when my husband surprised me this morning.

In addition to a couple of other surprises, I got the customary cake and my favourite flowers, lilies.

Then I saw it!  A huge box on the bed.   I opened it, wondering what was in such a big box

…….and what did I find inside that box? Well, a box full of presents!! That husband of mine certainly got me good this year!! How on earth did he manage to hide this from me?!

He gets even more creative each year, I have to tell you!
